Enontekiö Local history Museum

The buildings of our local history museum depict life here in early 19th century. The region’s history goes much further back than that though, as people have been living here for up to 7000 years.

The museum has great views towards Lake Ounasjärvi and Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. It’s also a great place to stop for a coffee, feel the atmosphere, eat your lunch or just admire the landscape.

The Local History Museum is open at summer and it's located three kilometres East from Hetta at Ounastie 437, Enontekiö.

Summer 2022

The museum is open from 28th June to 13th August 2022.
Tue - Fri 12-18
