Pihtusköngäs Waterfall

The Pihtsusköngäs Waterfall, Bihcosgorži in Northern Sámi, is one of the tallest waterfalls in Finland.

The waterfall is located in the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area and requires at least a 40km hike to admire it.

The hike is worth it, though. Water falls off a lip and into a deep canyon with a free fall of 17 metres. Most people see it on their way to Halti on the Nordkalott Trail.
